Ramzia Hajizadeh
My name is Ramzia Hajizadeh. I am a 7th-grade student, and I am 13 years old.
When I was little, I thought I would always stay small and just have fun. But as I grew older, I realized that people change. When I was twelve, I wanted to become a doctor and help people, but later I understood that it wasn’t really what I wanted. After that, I tried to think of a job I would love, but nothing came to my mind.
I have always loved music and wanted to become a successful person in the world. My mom and I always watched Indian singers on TV. Whenever a young singer performed, my mom’s eyes filled with tears. That’s when I knew my mom wanted me to grow up and become someone successful.
I have always been confident, and I still am. I dream of becoming a famous singer one day so I can show the world and my family that anyone can achieve their dreams.
People say, “If you have it, show it. If you don’t, build it.”
So I decided to build it. I joined an online class and a new school. Now I am studying hard to get a school scholarship and an international certificate so I can continue my education in the United States and reach my goals.
I hope that one day, when I appear on TV, my family will be proud of me and happily say, “She is our daughter, our sister, our niece, and our friend.”
